LAU Infra Grupa AS revenue from road maintenance services increased by 26.3% in the first half of 2026 compared with the corresponding period of 2025. At the same time, the Company signed significant contracts with a total value of EUR 16.3 million, including projects involving state and municipal roads, forest roads and defence infrastructure, as well as four framework agreements with Latvian State Roads and Latvia’s State Forests. Municipal projects accounted for a significant share of the new contracts, with a total value of EUR 4.9 million.
The Company’s net turnover for the first six months of 2026 amounted to EUR 36.7 million, representing a decrease of 17.1% compared with the corresponding period of 2025. The results were mainly affected by a lower volume of civil engineering projects, as well as higher costs. Net profit for the reporting period amounted to EUR 0.1 million, while the EBITDA margin was 12.2%.
“During the first half of the year, we continued to strengthen the Company’s position in the road maintenance segment while expanding our contract portfolio across state and municipal roads, forest roads and defence infrastructure projects. The results were also affected by an unexpected and sharp increase in costs, with the weighted average price of diesel rising by 11% and the price of bitumen emulsion by 42%. Despite this cost pressure, the Company maintains a balanced capital structure and stable liquidity. We remain focused on profitable projects, cost control and long-term growth,” said Vilnis Vitkovskis, Chairman of the Management Board of LAU Infra Grupa AS.
Contracts signed in the municipal segment cover road and street reconstruction, surface treatment, routine maintenance and pavement renewal, with contract execution periods extending through 2028. In the defence infrastructure segment, contracts have been signed for the construction of counter-mobility infrastructure, as well as road and adjacent-area maintenance and renewal works at defence facilities.
The Company continues to implement its development and investment programme, including the renewal of its machinery fleet and the implementation of an integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
The Company maintains a balanced capital structure, with an equity-to-assets ratio of 55%, a current ratio of 1.4, and a debt service coverage ratio (DSCR) of 2.4.
