In accordance with the decision of the procurement commission of VSIA “Latvijas Valsts ceļi” (Latvian State Roads), LAU Infra Grupa AS has been awarded the right to conclude contracts for the performance of routine state road maintenance works in the Bauska contract area and the Preiļi and Dagda contract area for a five-year period from 2027 to 2032. The Company’s tenders in both procurement lots were recognised as the most economically advantageous, as they offered the lowest contract price.
The total contract value of the two procurement lots amounts to EUR 23.707 million excluding VAT, of which EUR 8.701 million relates to the Bauska contract area and EUR 15.006 million to the Preiļi and Dagda contract area.
In accordance with the Public Procurement Law, a 10-day standstill period applies following the notification of the procurement commission’s decision to the tenderers. The contracts are expected to be concluded after the expiry of the standstill period, in accordance with the procedure prescribed by applicable laws and regulations.
During the current state road maintenance period from 2022 to 2027, LAU Infra Grupa AS performs routine state road maintenance works under 19 contracts.
LAU Infra Grupa AS also plans to participate in subsequent procurement lots for the performance of routine state road maintenance works.
